Introduction to Montessori/Early Childhood Overview covers the fundamental principles of Montessori education: the Montessori theory of human development, central role of observation, and Montessori educational practices in the Early Childhood classroom.

Introduction to Montessori is a core course requirement for AMS Infant and Toddler certification for those who do not have Early Childhood certification. It is an excellent course for Assistants, Substitutes, or Aides working in an Early Childhood classroom or for anyone interested in finding out more about the Montessori approach to education.

If you have assistants or substitutes already working in the classroom, this workshop will be a great help in their work now.

Applicants to the Infant and Toddler cohort should enroll in this workshop if they do not have an Early Childhood Montessori Credential in order to meet AMS requirements.

For further information and to register, please apply on line and complete the first two pages of the application.

Please register today!

A Certificate of Attendance will be provided upon completion for 24 PD hours.
