New Jersey Early Childhood (2½-6) Course Cycle
at The Village School for Children

Classes generally meet one weekday evening per week (5:00-8:00 p.m. or 5:30-8:30 p.m.) during the school year throughout the course cycle. Occasionally, a class may be scheduled twice in one week or on a Saturday. All workshops for additional curriculum areas are held on Saturdays throughout the course cycle. A separate mailing including a schedule sheet and registration form will be sent in July. Students who are enrolled in Philosophy/Child Development will receive registration forms before the start of future curriculum areas. The Music workshop is held at the Fall Seminar at The Warwick Center in Warwick, New York. Lunch is included.

* For students wishing to receive an overview course in Montessori Philosophy, but not intending to continue toward full certification, Philosophy may be taken without the additional Child Development curriculum components.

Formal application is made to take complete training to obtain an AMS credential during the final course of the first academic year. The following fees must be paid before the start of your practicum phase for certification:
