I do not have arrangements for a Practicum (internship) site. If you do not have a practicum site, please visit the AMS website www.amshq.org to view school listings for possible practicum school locations.
We offer 2 suggestions for overnight accommodations for non-commuters at either The College of New Rochelle dorm rooms or the Radisson Hotel in New Rochelle. As is the case with many colleges in our area, the dorm rooms are not air-conditioned. We highly suggest you bring a fan. If you require air-conditioning, we suggest you make plans to stay at a hotel or with a local friend or relative.

Include your NON-REFUNDABLE REGISTRATION FEE. Your non-refundable fee should be included with this application. Applications are due May 15, 2013. Registrations received after this deadline will be charged a $300 late fee in addition to the Registration Fee. Tuitions, fees, meal plans, and housing costs for each program are listed on the CME|NY Rate Card. All tuition payments and fees are due in full by June 1, 2013 unless a contract has been signed with the business manager. Transportation expenses, books, and supplies are not included and are the responsibility of the Adult Learner. The cost of books and supplies is approximately $200-$500 depending on the course level and source.
Write and Submit a Personal Statement of 350 words stating:
a) Why you wish to enroll in the CME|NY program;
b) How you developed your interest in Montessori education;
c) Why you want to pursue education at the specific program level for which you are applying.
Send three current letters of recommendation (2 professional and 1 personal) and a copy of your teaching certificate. Your references may email their letters directly to applications@cmteny.com
Send two sets of official transcripts from your highest educational institution level completed. If your highest degree is a High School Diploma, send a copy of your High School Transcript.

CANCELLATION BY APPLICANT: The applicant may canel this contract and receive a full refund of all monies paid to date if cancellation is made in writing and mailed to Melanie Pappas, CME/NY, Mamaroneck Avenue, White Plains, NY 10605, postmarked within five (5) business days, after the date of the signature on this application.
REFUND POLICY: If an Adult Learner withdraws from the program one month prior to the program starting date, 100% tuition (less registration fee) will be refunded. After the start of the program, allowable refund percentages are computed from the date of official withdrawal, not from the time when the Adult Learner ceases attending classes. Please see our Refund Policy on-line at our Website. The Adult Learner is required to withdraw officially by submitting a written letter of intent to the Executive Director and his/her Level Coordinator.
CANCELLATION OF PROGRAM: CME|NY reserves the right to cancel any program prio to its start date due to lack of enrollment. In the event of such cancellation, paid fees, deposits, and tuitions will be refunded.
